Greetings and Salutations

Alright. So here's the deal. My life is quite boring. It is occasionally peppered with hijinks and odd stories that I'm sure are only set up by the glorious karma monster as punishment for a joke I took too far in a past life.
I have been known to be witty on occasion, and sometimes outright funny (at least in my own mind). I have been fortunate enough to acquire a good amount of associates thanks to this poetry thing I've been involved in since late 1999 and I have even managed to call a few of them friends (and mean it).
The past few years have taken quite a toll on me and I'm in the process of pulling myself up from a ditch I never thought I'd be in. Some have turned away (oh well); some have stuck around (thank you) and I'm generally trying to just keep my head above water.
That being said, the contents of my journal have been changed to a 'friends only' setting so that I can pretend that there are those that are just really starving for dirt and/or info about me.
Sooo....if I've managed to keep your attention this long and you wish to read more about who I'm is and how I do, then feel free to add a comment to this public posting (or feel free to email me if you're too ashamed to admit you're 1 - on livejournal (and you should be ashamed - HOW DARE YOU!!) or 2 - on livejournal and a fan of my blog) and I will do my best to add you as a friend post haste so you can resume pointing and snickering at the not-so-situational comedy called my life.
