Their keyblades struck against each other, the clanging sound loud even in the calm of the grove. Their labored breathing showed their exertion in their ritual afternoon spar. Aqua spun, her hand raising as she mumbled the simple spell, rolling ice formed and slammed into Terra’s chest as he tried to back out. The brunette found himself pinned to the ground, ice shards holding his loose sparring clothes to the dirt.
Aqua didn’t let up, she flung her keyblade, Terra blocking it with a defense stance he managed as the ice began to slowly melt. Terra crouched and rushed forward, thrusting all his weight into knocking Aqua to the ground.
“Umph!” Aqua gasped all air leaving her lungs as Terra’s full weight pressed so roughly against hers.
Their sparring had turned so heated that left them in a precarious situation, both heaving for air, sweat glistening their skin. Terra’s eyes dilated as his keyblade was dismissed, his gaze riveting from every single one of her features. Aqua trembled under his gaze, swallowing past the lump that had caught in her throat.
“Ter--” her words cut short, as he hastily pressed his lips against hers in a mash of adrenaline that left her whole body trembling for more. He kissed so fiercely, his lean muscled body pressing against her in all the right places.
She was breathless, gasping for air when she shoved him, scooting away, and rushing to her feet. Aqua swallowed, her lips kiss-swollen, fingers brushing the tender membrane as her face flushed with a pink hue. Her gaze danced around Terra, who sat on the ground, grinning so devilishly. Trembling, Aqua turned and fled the grove as fast as her wobbly legs could carry her, unsure of what had happened between her and Terra, but hoping it would reoccur all the same.
Terra grinned, watching her leave, his hand ruffling the hair at the nape of his neck, the taste of her on his lips.
