Supernatural, Sam, you missed the turn Dean --
He pinched his index finger and thumb to the bridge of his nose, the colored lines on the unfolded map in his hands blended together. Sam lifted his head, the throbbing behind his eyes shifted with his movement, spreading out across the whole of his skull. He released a sigh and looked out the window, watching the road signs pass by.
Lowering his hand to his lap, the map crinkling under the weight, Sam caught sight of the upcoming sign, the realization coming to him in an instant. “Dean, did you take that last turn like I told you to?”
“Yeah, why?” Dean shifted in his seat, casting a bored ‘I-know-what-I’m-doing’ look at his brother.
Sam released a heavy breath, “No, you didn’t.”
Dean grumbled, “I did.”
“Dean!” Sam raised his voice before he felt the throbbing pain in his temple flare with a vengeance. He pinched at his nose, rubbing soothing circles on his brow, as he gathered the calmness to speak again, “You missed the turn Dean.”
“I was suppose to go left, right? Well, I went left,” Dean pointed to the map.
Sam pointed to the spot where he had circled, “You were suppose to take a right.”
After a moment of silence, Dean grumbled and slowed their speed before pulling onto the shoulder of highway and doing a large u-turn with the impala, “Why didn’t you tell me sooner?” Dean said, eyes leveled on the road as they picked up their speed, heading in the right direction this time.
Sam shook his head, though regretted it the moment his migraine flared into a vivid pain behind his eyes, “Whatever, Dean.”
