[Drabble] Roughness

“Idiot!” he roared angrily, his helmet dissolving, revealing his heated golden gaze, “Pathetic wretch! You cast me from your heart!”
Ventus squirmed in the tight hold that Vanitas held him in, smashing his back against the cliff facing. He panicked as the deafening screech overhead signaled the keyblade dragon was circling back for another strike. Terra! Aqua!
Vanitas sneered, “Eyes on me!” his hand smashing the button on Ven’s shoulder to dispell his armor. He slumped against the cliff facing, his eyes wide with fear, Vanitas laughing manically over him, “That’s better!”
The blond screamed in pain as his twin summoned his dark keyblade and pressed the sharp of the blade to the line of his throat. Vanitas snarled, applying pressure to the blade, drawing a bead of blood and another screech from Ventus.
“NO!” Ventus raises his arm, shoving at Vanitas’ face, “Get off!”
Chuckling darkly, Vantias reached up and grabbed a hand full of blond hair, “Shut up!”
Ventus whimpered, before he started screaming again, a portal of darkness opening up behind him, slowly pulling him and Vanitas in. He turn frantic eyes on his dark twin, who laughed louder, his voice cracking at the end causing Ventus to feel like his spirit was breaking.
Breathing heavily, Ven tried to shove the other half of him off, but he only failed, the keyblade pressed tighter against his throat.
“You’ll be apart of me, if you want to or not!”
Ven held back a cracked sob, hoping against hope that he’d find an opening. He needed a level playing field, but was at odds. Vantias tightened his hold on his hair and shoved him further into the darkness of the portal. Vanitas laughed, his lips pulled back over his white teeth.
“Ven! Hold on!”
Ven whimpered.
Terra was coming.
