I am so frustrated. I was driving hom efor my lunch break from work, and I was listening to the classical station (98.1) since more often than not, I like to listen to classical music while I drive. You just can't get worked up when you listen.
Or can you?
So as I am about to pull onto the road I live on, I hear an ad for planned parenthood start blaring on the radio about how they need money. Then the close with "every child a wanted child"
I had to pull over I was so angry. I hit my radio to turn it off, and I had to take 10 deep breaths. I couldn't believe a radio station would play an ad like that. It's like telling people like me (more than 1/3rd of all people, if not, more) that they don't even really have the right to exist, and kids like they are (or once were) shouldn't even exist.
Obviously, I'm not going to listen to that radio station anymore. Which is sad since I liked their music. I am just debating wether or not I want to sent them an email informing them that their poor choice in advertising is costing them a listener and whoever else I can convince not to listen to that station.
