Another Day, Another Cup of Hot Cocoa

The weather here is becoming a little bit nicer, luke warm breezes floating around and messing with my hair. Today seems to be one of those lazy days, I've done nothing except start to make some welcome signs for the newbies. And sleep. And get my fire alarm checked. Stuff like that.

My one professor finally contacted me and told me that I can't sign up for Historical Methods. The History department is keeping that class for History students graduating in Fall '06 only, so I'm going to have to take it in Spring. Since I can't get onto WINGS here, I'll have to make a trip to Yeast Paradise so I can look up the other classes and find another one to get into. Probably another writing class.

Speaking of writing, I was able to do a little bit, yesterday I think, after I got back from Hokkaido. Not a lot mind you, but some.

My one professor here is taking my c.d.s to the elementary school for me as the principal made the decision that it wouldn't be fair to the other classes if my class got another visit AND gifts from me, so they are only allowing the gifts. I told my teacher that I understood, but I would like it if she was able to get some pictures for me of the kids. I really hope that they like their c.d.s.

Starting to miss a couple of things that I can only get in the U.S. Namely, Waffle House, tater-tots, Maple Story, pizza, stuff like that. It just means that I'll enjoy them when I do get back in July.

Mom and Dad have packed up my room (or at least my books and things, excluding clothes I think). 50 boxes so far, but thankfully my Dad is packing and he realizes that he doesn't know the first thing about what I would keep and what I would throw away so he's keeping everything. Yeah!

I think that's all the news that I have, I'm probably going to work on my SOP, statement of purpose, or something like that. (or strangle the girl across from me if she doesn't put the sound down on her computer while playing her game.)
