Thoughts and Points

First off...HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO ME AND ISAAC!!! We've been together for 2 years now and hope to be for a lot more. Yeah!!

Second, a list of things that I have been worrying about since I came to Japan (yes, this has a point).

1) My mom going in for surgery

2) My dad going in for surgery

3) My parents moving to the country of Panama before I get home. Meaning I don't have a house to go home to when July comes.

4) My cousin being sent to jail

5) My friend Don from Red Cross dying and feeling like a git since I never tried to get in contact with him from Japan.

6) Graduating on time with a double major since I have to pull teeth to get anyone to talk through e-mails

7) Not being in the new MyGeorgiaSouthern system and not being able to do anything concerning the school

8) Not having my financial aid check still, not knowing where it is, and needing it by this point

9) Thinking that I was ripped off for over $1,000 when I bought a computer online and the school told me that it never arrived

10)Having to plan an apartment move through e-mail, looking at the apartment only online. The apartment is in Michigan by the way

11) Writing over 40 pages of a great story and doing it without the computer I bought and only when there are not loud people in the computer lab. That tends to be within the hours of 5am and 8am. I am also trying to write more than one so that my professors will choose the better one

12) Being only able to say "Ear Hurt" instead of being able to say "I have an ear infection, can I please have some medicine"

13) This list is not including the assignments and tests that I had to do in school.

14) This is also not including the stuff that I don't remember at this moment.

My contact with the U.S., including Michigan, Kennesaw, and Statesboro has been limited. I am not there, so I figure that if there are any problems concerning me, I will find out somehow. This happens through e-mails, AIM, livejournal, and telephone calls. If I am not notified somehow, I will remain unaware of what is going on in the U.S. This includes, but is not limited to, anything to do with GSU (financial aid, post office, class sign-up, room sign-up, etc.) What is happening to my family back home, (for example, if my mom hadn't let the surgery slip, I never would have known) and other things.

I am in Japan. I am a friend that sends goodies in boxes to people back home and never get thanked until I ask them if they liked the stuff I sent them. I am the student that is "out of sight out of mind" until I e-mail them four times requesting sign up help. I am the daughter who was never told Happy Birthday on her Birthday, the first in 22 years, since the phone system is down. And all this I can deal with, and I understand that I am half the world away and on a complete opposite time schedule. It's not a problem. However, I will not be told by a friend that it is my fault that she doesn't have roommates for the next year. If this was that important to you, you would have found a way to contact me, either by bugging other friends until you walked away with my e-mail in your hand, by typing in my live journal, be signing up for AIM again and getting my AIM, somehow. I have known my plans since the beginning of Jan as I had to fill out papers before the month was up. I am not taking the blame for this.

I am also not trying to be mean to anybody. I am merely trying to get my point across.
