Well, I'm taking a small break from selling things on Ebay (mostly little Yu Yu Hakusho mini posters that I have extras of) so I figured I might as well update and tell you what's happening here in Japan. *cricket cricket* You know, there is so much that's happening! *cricket cricket* *waves away the cricket* Anywho, I think I found another Book Off, Hard Off, and Geo, so later today I might go check them out, see if they have anything that I absolutly need.
I found a fun new anime that I like called Gakuen Alice, Isaac and I were able to watch up to episode 15, but it ends at 26, so this looks like something I might eventually pick up, since, like my Aria, I don't believe that it will come to the US.
Oh yeah, speaking of the U.S., the government believes that I am not a full time or even part time student so it's asking me to pay back my loans, the 1st payment being due on July 21st. Riiiighttt....I'll start working on that. I've got some forms to fill out so that I can tell them I am still a student.
Isaac is having a hard time with the housing department as they sent an e-mail to an old account telling him that he needed to pay for the deposit. He didn't get it in time so the new e-mail is now saying that he doesn't have a room. It's not his fault if the stupid credit card machine is down since, oh yeah we're in Japan, that's the only way we can pay for stuff back home. He's trying to work it out with Jeff and get it fixed.
I went on a feildtrip yesterday to Nagoya Castle, which was much better this time due to having an English guide. The last time Isaac and I went we pretty much looked around and tried to read the Japanese / English signs.
A bunch of people went out drinking last night, not comming back in until 7:30 in the morning becuase they missed the bus and the subway system. I still don't understand the attraction of getting pissed drunk, or sleeping out in the cold at one of the subway stops. Be that's just me.
I'm going to start packing probably June 21st, only a month before we need to go. Still haven't been able to find a plane ticket for that time period yet, but one will pop up, it always does. I figured that if I packed early, I could also send out my books early. A week before I leave so I can make sure that they've reached the U.S., and the I'll pick them up at the post office on campus. Three or more boxes will be used for stuffed animals, but on the bright side they don't weigh too much. CDs and CD boxes are being sent home, except for maybe one case that I will take with me. Or I can just put it all on my MP3 player.
I'm making Isaac burn my music to his computer so I can transfer it to mine using my wani (my usb croc). Still haven't been able to figure out how to burn stuff and the win amp thing didn't work.
I think that's about it, if not I'll come back and type some more. Love and Peace!
