Hey guys, what's up?
School is starting up, and like I said before I failed the Japanese Language Test. This means that I will be taking the Culture Courses again, hopefully they've changed.
Cool thing happened in the space of a few days. Isaac and I met this older lady on the subway, and I started talking to her. She was meeting her in-laws of her son, Jason, who had married a Japanese girl. She was telling me that her family is international, as her other daughter married a guy from Chile and another son-in-law is German. Well, we had a fun time talking, then we left, parting in Nagoya. Well, about a week later, Isaac and I were having a date at Nagoya Castle, just the 2 of us, when guess who we run into?! Denise, her son Jason, her son-in-law from Chile, her daughter, and her grand-daughter.
Isaac is more geekier than me. He's accessing livejouranl through his PSP. I saw it on the page, I swear.
Anyhow, I won some more Taiko pillows and little ones from the arcade. How much did I spend? Let's do the policy of don't ask, don't tell. I swear though, the staff there knows my face and will miss me when I go home. A male member of another arcade staff keeps asking about Isaac, which is a little weird because as soon as I say that he's not there the guy leaves me alone.
Oh yeah, did I mention that I'm grateful for my French, here in Japan? I was sending out some packages when I noticed that the slips I had to fill out, the ones that said what's in the package and the amount that it is worth, was in French and Japanese. Well, I at least know the French, luckily.
I'm hoping that I can still graduate even though I'm taking Culture classes again. I just e-mailed my adviser, telling him about the change, cringing as I clicked the send button. If I don't get the Japanese minor, I don't graduate on time. I would need another semester to do so. A semester that I don't have. Forgive me if I seem a bit worried...but right now everything is lining up in a row.
a) Graduate by May '07
b) Go from Statesboro to Michigan
c) Get Master's Degree
I need these things to go right damn it! And I need to start writing again. Couldn't write yesterday, there was beer pong in the lobby, music that was shaking the door to my room.
Classes start on Tuesday / Wednesday for me. Yippee...same old shit. That's about all the news for now, Isaac and I are probably going to leave Yeast Paradise, the place where we get the semi-free wi-fi (just buy something to eat / drink, stay as long as you want).
Toodles.
