Today I was going to pull into the library & make a Xanga post, but the Red Hot Chili Peppers' "Danny California" came on the radio & I had to keep driving to listen to it.
If fuel(=money) weren't a consideration I could've played vulture around the block, but fuel definitely = - money.
T.C.'s last day at wk today.
He reminds me of Nathan & Dylan & other cool guys I have been distantly acquainted with, and he invited me to come visit him & his gf in Philly.
I'm going to take him up on it.

My dad called last night & we talked about operating systems. Orrrrrr Linux, inotherwords. I'm going to put a Linux OS on Grub after I build it, not sure what distro yet. If Tannenbaum/Minix doesn't (=money x 10 10) then I might dual inst them.

I was thinking. What really piqued (ah, ignited, in the most intense, Colorado wildfire sort of sense) my interest in cognitive science was Danny Hillis' description of computer architecture -- logic machines.
Thought it was damn cool.
If I never go to college and get my Ph.D. but I get to mess around with comps for the rest of my life, I'd be happier than any other human being. I could live in a drain pipe and still be happy.
