Understanding.

I now know why I frequently am angry or irritable towards my father. Why I always thought Kyle (our friend in seminary) to rub me the wrong way. And why I alwayd felt on a lower level with many of the people at Lynn's house before her cancer got worse.
We communicate differently. We have different methods of communicating that involve different ways of talking, body language and innuendos, etc. Each of us reacts differently to this problem.
It's like trying to fit two pieces of a jigsaw puzzle together that don't match. We have different ways of adressing this point, but regardless.. it occurs.
There are times where there are fundamental differences that can not be resolved between two people. Tonight I discovered that everything else is simply a lack of EFFECTIVE communication.
To those who would like to say 'well isn't that obvious?'...
There are bits of things you know, but you do not REALLY understand what you know until you have an application. My application arrived nearly an hour ago.
