I'm not sure which, if any furry conventions I'm going to. I don't know if it's me feeling like all I'm going there for is to work (who doesn't love a working vacation?), or if I'm going there for the wrong reasons (IE, I haven't got plans to really hang out with anyone, I don't go to many panels anymore, and if all I'm traveling for is to play games and volunteer for a cause, I could do that more locally with a little planning and forethought).
On the other hand, I'm set to do admin work for a gaming tourney in Orlando early February...buh? On the up side, that Thursday is the Chinese New Year, and I'm hoping to find somewhere in town to hang out and see the sights (also read, eat the food!). I'm getting paid to travel, work, and play a game I rather like, so I've little to question here otherwise.
I'm going to GenCon heck or high water, its like...half an hour away...so there :p.
I could list off the other conventions I either traditionally go to, or at least try to go to on a variety of levels, but by now most of you already know them (Speaking of most of you...who's left? o.O *clinks monitor glass*.
Let me know where you go, and why I should go there too :).
Otherwise, I'm either always busy, or try to keep busy. I drive around and visit when I can, but that's not all that often lately. I don't hear about as many of the local group things as I used to (Not always my fault that I can't make it or am out of town that given weekend :( ). And there's a good number of you I should bother more often to make sure things are going well, or that you're at least ok. (Sets up a free hug booth and lays out guide ropes should anyone feel like lining up \o/ ).
