Yay for Youtube :).
Anyone ever heard of Human Tetris? *smirks and laughs* why can't we do cool game shows like this here? The days of Double Dare from Nick are gone here.
When ya have to resort to imports from Japan (Sakura, MXC, and things only found on YouTube), you know you've found a niche market that needs to be exploited here in the states.
Otherwise, I'm alive, but hope I don't do anything like work practically every day anymore for a while. It's bad enough I know I have other things to be doing, but that I can't remember what most of them are when I'm home to be doing them.
I should definately spend more time looking for better work, but with AC looming, it'd be kinda silly to invest time in finding work I couldn't start for another month. I don't particularly want to leave the FedEx job, as it could possibly take me somewhere. It's that I'm tired of working in the mall at the arcade job. I took the position of Assistant Rout Manager to get AWAY from the malls and AWAY from stupid kids and their ignorant parents, not thrust back behind the desk while the new manager fights to keep honest and competent employese that'll work for a pittance of what the place is earning.
In other news, Anthrocon's in less than 30 days. I should start packing, eventually. I'll take a Greyhound to it if it turns out I'll need to be there on Wednesday. As it is, Monolith and the others will only be leaving mid Thursday, so they'd probably get there about dinner time. I know Anthrocon's in a Union area, and there isn't a great deal of volunteer work to do like there used to be (and like there still is at MFF), but I'd like to be there to see what I can do anyhow.
Why volunteer? I get to stand around, look at badges, and say hi to people I don't otherwise get to :P. And you can't hide, because you're walking past me anyhow :). *evil cackle*
Anyhow, I've got the time off from both jobs, which was easier than I'd expected. Monolith is expected to start working at FedEx sometime after the convention, which means his move out here will be not long after that as well. Yay :). No one else was expressing interest in moving into the area, so I guess I'll have to contend with one person moving out and settling in. Here in a while we'll have to help move Mako out here as well, just depends on the job market and how well he can look for work from where he is. If all else fails, I know where to look for cheap places to live, and where to find work.
Oddly enough, the complex we're living in now is the cheapest in the area according to all those little appartment and renting booklet things you find around town. There's another small place just off Kentucky Avenue near FedEx I'd point people to from time to time, but obviously I'm in no hurry to move out unless things just continue to look like I have to. As it is, I'm trying to keep cash back for a different vehicle (The death trap has its moments where it worries me, and seems to always worry everyone else :P).
*Yawns* Otherwise, it's late (early), and I should really be getting some sleep. Those of you I owe e-mails to, I'm sorry I've been so busy lately. Procrastination seems to be a habbit that's not just suited to homework and stuff around the house x.x; I'll see everyone when I can, take care and be safe.
