Why'd I click the post to my journal button? I'm not sure, but maybe I'll sit here and type for a while. Perhaps something will come out.
A friend of mine (name removed to protect the innocent) in the area needs help moving Saturday the 25th if you're friends with him and are available for a few hours that afternoon. I may be stuck working here in TH unless I can do some mad VooDoo and stunt my paycheck by not working that day.
Galadon's still got some sort of stomache illness and needs your good vibes sent his way.
There are a lot of otherwise nice, single people that need to quit being whiney when no one wants to hang out with them and appreciate the friends they actually have :P. That goes for both sides of the fence.
I just got admission stuff from IUPUI over the week. Never too early to apply for next fall I guess?
I've about given up hope from either of the good places I'd interviews with recently. Plan on taking a little time tonight and tomorrow scouring the help wanted pages on Monster between cleaning bouts here at the old appartment.
I think Tuesday the 21st some of us are going to drive up and wander around the state fairgrounds a bit. Anyone else want to hang out for a bit? I'd have to leave sometime around 4:30 or so to get to class ontime, but otherwise I'm contemplating just being there a couple hours to see whatever happens to be there at the time. Otherwise, we need another Indy furmeet...
At the moment, I've got a 20 hour a week job (mostly thursday and Friday due to scheduel conflicts), and I've 'temporarily' still got the mall job here in Terre Haute while I clean the old appartment and finish moving all the rest of my fluff. So...I'm cramming 36 hours of work into four days :), it's not so bad. The rout assistant job's kinda descent so far. And I'm actually learning stuff x.o; More from day one, take That ISU :D.
Otherwise, looks like the rest of the worlds being quiet. The only e-mails in my D account were LAFF spam. Some of the stuff in my regular account was spam, much of it group notes. Stuff in my G account consisted of group notes and a memo from campus asking me to send my resume back in a different format. Easily fixed, though I may have an appointment to talk to people in the office about it in the week anyhow.
Classes start Monday, definately looking forward to it. Found out I have to actually go to campus and...sounds like I've got a mouse in the appartment *stalks prey item*...
Anyhow, it looks like I have to go to campus and apply to drop the web design class and switch it with the database class. I guess there was some deadline that passed, keeping me from doing that myself online. Ah well. Something to do before Thursday (the day both classes are offered)
Just turned 11 here. I think I could go for some soup or something. I may raid the fridge then get to Monstering or something. Have a good one :).
