I'm going to be INCREDIBLY boored this semester, aren't I?
I'm taking two classes full of info I've known for years, one class I know most of the info in already, and the programming class. My other problem with all of these classes, is that they're split apart across a few days, and generally last no more than two hours each day x.o.
I'm not sure I'm going to learn anything at this rate. I spend time on campus either waiting for a class to start, or wondering why it's already over XD.
Sadly, it's either put up with this, or sit out a semester, and I hardly consider that an option. I needed to free up my afternoons so I could get another part time job, and now I just have to get around to finding it. As if I can find one now when I couldn't most of the rest of the year :p.
Anyhow, yeah, I'm definately not online a lot, I think it's going to start affecting me here eventually :P. I don't like to be boored, and I figure if I do nothing but study all day, I'll get bored rather soon.
I got breakfast on the way into campus. Speedway was out of theose stuffed pretzel things I devourered on day one, so I got this huge burrito thing. It's spicey, but it doesn't have much of a good flavor to it. The lady at the counter almost got hostile because I didn't buy gas XD. I think from now on I'll just get those tv dinner things from Walmart or wherever and bring one with me when I wake up in the morning.
Apparently, I'm also going to have to make an effort to show up at least 15 minutes before the start of class this semester. There are more parking spaces than students, it's already been confirmed. I'm just going to wait for them to start towing 'illegally parked' vehicles and watch the mayhem. The city doesn't have a public bus service that travels this far, and that will just have to change. I mean hell, have a bus that comes out here once an hour from the Mall. It may as well be a transfer center at the mall anyhow, enough people use the service and get to Walmart or wherever from there.
So...yeah, day three, bored, and killing an hour before my next class. *fake signs of excitement*
Work yesterday wasn't so bad. By the time I'd arrived, most of the hard work had already been done. Construction still isn't finished, but hopefully it will be soon enough. We'll definately need a restroom and storage space in the office, not to mention the office space we were promised >_>... . After trying to find space for as much as we were able to move into the office, we resorted to shoving boxes underneath or behind whatever open game there was. Besides that, it was probably the slowest work day I can recall, just wish that meant I had more time to study :p.
Maybe it's time I change my study habbits. I should probably read the chapter in question before going through to make notations and write notes or such. It seems that when I go through, slowly read stuff, and write notes at the same time, that I go through the chapter slower. I can type a lot quicker, and more legibly, than I can write, so I think I'll stop trying to write notes at work or while I'm reading a chapter.
Otherwise, I guess things are fine. I need to cash a paycheck today (And find out why my commission check isn't in >_>), see if Charli got my day off request for the Wolf Park meet next saturday, find out how much funding I have set aside, find out exactly what kind of loan I've qualified for (stafford, subsidised, unsubsidized, whatever), and just how I can start paying it off now, instead of waiting for interest to acrue.
I'm not sure what else I wanted to do for today...my Science class starts at 1, and then I just plan on reading/studying for my A+ Hardware stuff before getting work done in other classes.
Scott's 24th Birthday is this Saturday, but I work that day, so I'm not sure if I can make it, or if it'd really be justifyable to visit Friday or Sunday before or after work. I know I can't afford to go everywhere, but he get's kinda cranky when he feels people don't care or prefer to do other things. o.O. Can't make everyone happy afterall. I'm not even sure if I can make the Wolf Park thing, so we'll see.
Speaking of Birthdays...Today's is DaveQat's, and there are three of you with a birthday on the 17th? Woot :p.
