Fanfic!

(Yes, I'm alive. I just never think about posting, though I read my friends page every day.)
Anyway, I have a new fandom - the All Souls books (A Discovery of Witches and Shadow of Night) by Deborah Harkness. Anyone read them? I'm having a bit of a problem, because I wanted to read fanfic after finishing the second book, but couldn't find any. (Could it be that I've actually found an exception to Rule 34?) So I'm writing my own, and figured I'd ask and see if maybe, just maybe, anyone has read them and might be interested in beta reading some fic?
By the way, in case anyone is interested in my real life: currently in Wisconsin, still doing locum tenens. Moving to Ohio at the end of the year, where I have actually acquired a real job. With real health insurance and vacation time, woot!
