Where probably millions of people around the world were looking at us,
Where probably countless of reporters clamored to capture the group’s moment,
We held hands.
It looked platonic,
It looked as if it didn’t mean a thing,
It looked as if it was the ten of us simply showing our gratitude.
But we both know it’s more than that.
Because there were words exchanged, meant for only our ears, that they didn’t hear.
Because there were emotions felt, meant only for both our hearts, that they didn’t feel.
Because they didn’t see…
They didn’t see how our fingers interlaced as we walked off the stage,
Hand in hand.
It’s just You and Me,
Against the world….
