Am I the only one who dreads staying in someone else's home for more than a few nights?  It doesn't matter how awesome the people are, I just find it awkward and uncomfortable.  Bleh

Nope. I HATE it, even for a single night. It can ruin a vacation for me, but some folks get all butthurt if you don't stay with them (esp my husband's family)

100% with you there. Even in a cheap motel, you at least feel like you have some control. I always feel jumpy at someone's house.
