I GOT THE PART!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Next year I am going to be Cherubino in The Marriage of Figaro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is so surreal. This week has been a whirlwind. I have never gotten so much praise in such a compacted amount of time. I never imagined that anyone would appreciate me this much. The UDel vocal department has changed me so enormously.
Professor Brandt called me to tell me the news and I screamed so loud into the phone that I probably blew his ear off.
It is his doing that I got this part. He is the one who told me that I should audition with Voi Che Sapete...and he helped me on it...and I looked out into the audience at my audition and when I saw him there I got less nervous and I was able to open up...and I just owe everything to this man.
