I'm seeing RUSALKA with none other than RENEE FLEMING in the leading role this Saturday at the Met!!!!!!!!!
I love Professor Brandt. Oh my goodness. This man is the reason I am alive.
I'm really nervous because I have an appointment to talk to him tomorrow...I wanted to discuss the possibility of switching into his studio...and I haven't even thought of the idea that I might not be good enough, and he might not even want me. I was mostly just thinking about hurting Dr. Robinson's feelings...But it is very possible that Brandt won't want me in his studio...
Sometimes I forget the words in the chorus numbers during opera rehearsal...what if he counts that seriously against me? I don't know, I just have momentary lapses where the lyrics are too fast and I get all jumbled up...
And whenever it happens, I always look at him, as though searching for approval or trying to apologize, thus making my mistakes EXTREMELY obvious...
He's never made a negative comment to me, but I'm always so worried.
