Five Towns
Hello. So it seems that Five Towns just might be in Gods plan for my life. My Dad and I looked over the website today. And he, MY DAD, thinks it is a really good school. You can imagine how shocked I was. We did a little research and also a bit of math. It would only be twenty-one thousand dollars to attend the school including room and board. I also found out that nintey-two percent of graduates receive job offers within six months. That's pretty good.
Everything that we have done so far has just been so easy. It has been nothing to do some research on this school. It just all seems to be folding out in front of me. Everything is just perfect. Dix Hills is only about 15 minutes away from New York City. So I won't be living directly in the city, I really don't think I will get sick of it.
I am very surprised that my Dad is being more open to this than my Mom is. My Mom doesn't want me to go. She doesn't think that it is realistic. I know she wants me to go for what I have always wanted to really do. I know that she will support me in whatever I do. She just says you have to graduate first. Well, I also have to apply and now if I will attend there before I graduate. Reality is that it is my dream. I am going to do whatever it takes. I have to do what I have to do. I also found out that I don't have to audition like I thought I had to to get in. After acceptance you give an audition do determine where they place you in levels. I also found that you only have to have an 880 on your SATs and a minimum of a 2.3 GPA. Wow. Those are both numbers that I know I can achieve.
Being able to keep myself from not getting too set and too excited is going to be pretty difficult. It is something I need to do though. The last thing I want to do is get myself excited and then just be majorly let down when I don't get in. Prayer is still greatly needed on this subject.
