I had to get a new to me car
Well it is not brand new but it is new to me. I got a really good deal on a 2002 SL Saturn. It looks quite a bit like my old Saturn. But the new one is silver rather than light plum. And it has a lot less miles on it than Grape pet had on her. The new car to me has 75,890 miles on it now considering I drove all over the place this weekend. The reason I had to get rid of Grape pet. She decided to start breaking on me. She did not have an AC for the last month and half. Which sucks big time in the heat in Texas. She also was very temperamental and was on a permanent PMS trip lately. She deicide last Tuesday she was not longer going to back up. So I had to push her out of my parking lot at work after work last Tuesday. I drove her home and she sat in the parking lot at my house. Every day after that I would get in and try to back her up to see if I could get to work in her. But NO she would not go at all. So I had to hitch a ride with friends. So I called my dad and told him of her latest problems. The next day I asked if I could get off on Friday so maybe I could go get another car. On Wednesday I asked my friend if we could go look at cars at that dealership here in town so she took me there after work. MISTAKE. I just wanted to see what kind of cars they had. They tried very hard to get me to buy a car right then. I did not like any of the cars they had available that much so I was pissed at them hassling me so much. I wanted a Saturn or a Toyota. And they did not have any of those they had a ford focus and I did not want that car. So for the next couple of days they called me to see if I wanted the cars. I called them back yesterday and told me I brought a car somewhere else and they could leave me along now.
But on with the story I had my father come down to help me go shop for cars and he came down on Friday from Bridge City to take me to look at cars. But first my dad wanted to see what was the matter with my grape pet. The car must have know she was in trouble at that point because she was happy to go in reverse for my father. She was acting like nothing at all is wrong with her. My dad was like it will not go into reverse huh? I was like not for me. I get in with my father she will not go into reverse. My dad drives her again she goes into reverse. So my dad was like lets go look for cars first he was not sure if it would be a good idea to drive her all over Houston while we looked for cars. We got to the Saturn dealership off Southeast Freeway in Houston and I found my car. I ended up buying the new car and we had to go get mine and drive it back to the dealership. My dad drove mine because he said she must be mad at me and did not want to work properly with me. So he drove her there because I traded her in on my new car. I did not get much for her but at least she is off my hands now. I kind of feel sad over getting rid on my baby but she was getting old with 188,847 miles. But I am now getting use to the new car.
