heartbeat
Second prenatal appointment today, no ultrasound, but got to meet my new obsetrician and hear the baby's heartbeat! Seems like a nice enough guy, although I was a little uncertain about having a male girlystuff doctor. H was with me so I wasn't uncomfortable.
Insulin shots seem to be doing the trick along with icky diet control, so I probably won't have a monster baby, although I really want a piece of cake. Horror of horrors, Milk Tea has too many carbs for me to drink it unless it's like two hours before or after a meal. I'm trying to work around it.
Next month we get to find out the gender and get a little video tape of the ultrasound....baby's first video....
