I Like Fire!

Ah joy, I'd forgotten how much fun it is to sew. Meg's outfit for my wedding is coming along beautifully....now I only hope it fits. I ended up buying a pattern that is exactly that Versace dress I was obsessing over 18 months ago with the lace up bodice, and I'm doing it in a plum purple satin backed crepe. No shortcuts! But I got to the part where I needed matching satin ribbon.... I like fire. And I like it even better when I can use a lighter on my lovely polyester satins crepe to make perfectly matched ribbon to finish this dress with. Okay, this bodice with. It's two pieces and I'm still debating the skirt style. I have oodles and oodles of the green fabric for bridesmaids (long live discount fabric warehouse) and only have one (Christine) who is definitly maybe actually attending my wedding. Anybody? Anybody? I'll make you a pretty dress.....
Ah Sakura-Con....I'm torn as to whether I'll go....probably stay home sewing.....maybe Yaoi-Con
