Yellow seems too cheerful for the way I feel today. Work is stressful.
It's been so long since I've posted! Being a teller in a busy bank you always have to be aware it could happen..... I got robbed last month. Some stupid punk kid with no gloves came in and tossed a note on my counter. He's lucky I didn't stab him with my letter opener. As it is, I kept the note, gave him very little in cash and got a lot of really great pictures of him on several different cameras. It was one of those very quiet bank robberies, where no one knows it's happened until it's over. It's funny, I had to jump start my superiors and start the after robbery procedures myself. Then I spoke to some very nice bank specialists from the police department, and those clean cut young men from the FBI.
I was back on the line working three hours later. Usually when you get robbed you at least get the day off. But I did get a lovely cash gift from the district.
I am officially the longest lasting member of my branch. People I work with have been with the BANK longer, but I'm the longest time at my branch. They keep giving me little 'promotions' that amount to more responsibility for the same amount of pay. I'm tired.
I miss everyone. I want to play a big game of Civilization on my living room floor. I want to dress up and go bowling for holloween. I want to have watched the end of SailorMoon Live Action with someone other than my cat. Maybe I wouldn't have cried so much.
I guess I want to turn in the video before I get a late fee, too.
