(no subject)
Totally biffed it on the rails on my way from work to Ballard. Fell on my left side; due to overdressing for the weather there's a miraculous lack of blood pouring out of my elbow, but everything aches anyway.
Totally glad I was wearing a helmet though, things could have been gross, there's a bit of a gouge and a dent in the side now. I suspect a new helmet might be in order. Any thoughts on the proper disposal of bicycle helmets?
Oh, and four people stopped to see if I was okay, which was kind of them.
Also, I went drinking with random strangers on Saturday night and it was both awesome and lame. It involved laundry, bikes, nachos, pinball, 7up, board games at People's Pub, the worst gin and tonic ever, offers to hook me up with a hello kitty bike and discussions of dumb movies. Almost sounds like an interesting story when put like that doesn't it? Way better than the older irish gentleman from a couple of weeks ago who offered to teach my guitar and/or sell me drugs.
