80's TV synth music.

Here's some lovely YouTube spamming for all of you.

First off is the short-lived show Streethawk, based on the classical "supervehicle" concept. And for the Final Fantasy fans, you might like this if you thought the Streethawk theme was king.

Next we have the template supervehicle-show and the one redeeming career move of David Hasselhoff rolled into one sweet package - Knight Rider.

Hitting in on third is an all-time classic: Airwolf.

All respect to Jan Hammer and the theme from Miami Vice. Pay no attention to the upcoming movie. Listen to Crockett's Theme instead.

Oh, and the real nugget here (dedicated to lotiel_vanya) is Queen's Brian May covering the theme tune from puppet-animé show Starfleet with Eddie Van Halen. If you don't think this looks hilarious or cool, you better have your head checked.

That's it so far. Might put up MacGyver and A-Team, but won't bother now.
