2nd day of orientation...

Jun 13, 2008 23:42

I'm on the second day of orientation for my new job. I'm totally on information overload, but spent most of the day being happy that I will be getting to work with some amazing people in a wonderful hospital truly dedicated to the patients they serve.

Half of my stuff is still in boxes and bags but at least my room and apartment are starting to resemble a home.

My day started at 5:30 am, I was "done" around 5:30 pm, got home, sat on the couch in a stupor for 15 minutes, turned on the telly to the sad news that Tim Russert had suddenly passed away of a suspected heart attack. Got myself up for a run to Target for more household supplies.

And made it home by 10:00 pm in time to catch the mid-season finale of "Battlestar Galactica". And it was a doozy of a finale. I'm glad I finally got to catch one "live" since it is such a fine and well-crafted, well-acted show.
