My friend gave me ebola...
I just had to use that title. It's Wednesday and I'm leaving for a camping retreat for the 1st year students and I didn't want to leave without posting a little update on my site.

It's funny that I've so out of touch with my friends during school and as soon as finals were done and Madcap_allie came for a visit, I have hear from not 1, not 2, but 3 friends whom I haven't corresponded with in a while. Slayerivy in Florida wrote to let me know that she and her husband are pregnant and she is due at the end of March. A friend who lives just down that street from me, but whom I haven't seen for most of the year e-mailed me to try to meet up for dinner and I heard about another friend whose mom is unfortunately sick with pancreatic cancer. Not great news, but I'm happy to at least know what is going on in my friends lives since it is so easy to get consumed in school work.
