Good luck with jobhunting! I know how you feel, I didn't have a job where to return after the maternity leave either and I didn't really know what I wanted to do. Luckily I realized how much I wanted to become a nurse and applied for schools and got accepted - otherwise I don't know what I would have done. At least I would have been very stressed out because with my previous education (master of arts, major being history) finding a good job is not the easiest thing ever. Of course money is the problem when you study, but I get unemployment benefit of two years. The school lasts 3,5 years so it will be quite tough after these two years but I've already now been asked to work so I think it won't be difficult to find a part-time job later. Nurses are needed very badly and even students are wanted very much. Well, the problem is that I don't know how much I can work AND study at the same time, I also want to enjoy the company of my daughter. But we'll see, I shouldn't stress about it NOW.

As for job/study! I would love to go back to school but here u don't get unemployment benefits (unless u get fired) and moms don't receive any help from the Government. So I really need to plan things out very wisely!
I think you made the right decision plus it's a very important field the one you chose! I really don't know what I'll do ...sure thing I will not get another job where all I do is sitting to work at a computer. Lol
