Miyavi: Houston Concert- Fan Report
This was my first JROCK concert ever!! And it was worth it! So here is my little report on it : I know it is very unorganized but oh well...
MIyavi- in Houston: House of Blues
So when we arrived at the House of Blues there was a huge line , after waiting on the line they let us in around 8:00pm and miyavi came around 9:00. I was really close to the stage so it was awesome. But then again there weren’t as many ppl there as I had hoped. Well at least the people around me weren’t too weird, most them them just looked like they just got out of HotTopic. Anyways…
He started the concert with Survive and I love that song. Later on he tried ma make us sing-song funkymunky with different notes and but the last one was pretty high so everyone just screamed instead of singing it. But the he made us try it again and we well failed. LOL. So he said u guys suck and laughed. J And then when he was talking he talked about last year and how he had to cancel the concert and how he became a dad. And then he announced the news that he just learned that he is going to have a second kid so he was very excited and the jokingly he said “I wonder who did it?” And I was like wow what, ohhh lmao :D
And then he performed “sneak peaks” from his upcoming album and I totally love the song called “gravity” it was amazing!!!
Are you ready to rock’s performance was awesome. And he randomly kept on asking “What’s my name?” Oh at one time when everything went quiet for a second a girl screamed “ I love you” and then he was like “I luv u,too.” :D Also at one part he said “happy birthday America” since today is the independence day.
Oh and when he started splashing water on ppl my mom and my friend’s faces were wet but it only got on my hands and I was like, mom you are lucky but she was just disgusted LOL. He made us touch his guitar but I couldn’t reach. *sobs* ok. He also lifted up his shirt at one time, and licked his guitar twice.
Anyways....
Also whenever something happened like when the drummer would just break some parts of his set and when miyavi switched his guitar or when he would throw the mic on the floor and just go jump around somewhere this guy from his staff which my friends called “ninja” would just appear out of nowhere fix the things really fast and disappear. :D
Near the end he said that this was the last concert of the tour and was flying back to Tokyo. Everyone said “awwww” and then he was like “I am going to work on my new album.
Also when he was mentioning the keyboard guy and the drummer he said that “he likes boys.” I was like lol but I didn’t understand who he was referring to, I think it was the keyboard guy. Anyways, and then they perfomed another song in which miyavi messed around with the guys keyboard and “bullied” him. Later on before it ended he said “introduce him to some cute guys” and I was like What 0.0 and then LMAO XD

anyways this was a very messy/lame update but anyways i really enjoyed the concert!! <3
