Prince of Persia
The Forgotten Sands trailer. Looks really good; and when he turned around I was half-expecting to see Jake Gyllenhaal's face. I also feel that the prince's powers are getting more and more incredible (not withstanding the Sands of Time).
This cinematic intro trailer is more.. um, cinematic. Impressive stunts, but doesn't show the gameplay.
I'm thinking about getting this one, despite having quite limited experience with this particular franchise of PoP games. The things I have going against me are: they're not the same as the old platformer PoP games (which really were The Best) (original; The Shadow and the Flame); and I do excrutiatingly badly in 3D. That's right: I can't play Mario 64, and Super Mario Galaxy makes me ill (I did great with the New Super Mario Bros platformer though!).
What it's got going for me - 2-player co-op. That's how we like our games in this house. And I'd like to give it a try.
I suppose I could pick up cheap 2nd-hand copies of TSOT, WW, and TTT first, although I think it's quite hard to find TSOT (Xbox) these days.
Anyway, I'm really looking forward to the movie, although my great beef is that the prince never had a name. Why start now?
