from IWOOT to INOOT
Three USB ports are not cutting it. One day I'm going to yank something out of the laptop and it's going to crash on the floor, or some other destructive accident is going to happen, and then This Will All End In Tears.
So I need one of these.
USB squiddy.
Or something similar will suffice. The squiddy is good, because you can fit all sorts of weirdly-sized and -shaped USB connectors to it. The problem with USB ports is that they're generally relatively shitty, and won't last very long. I don't really know why this is, but I had a 4-port powered one, and one by one each port died. It wasn't like I used it for years either - the lifespan was a matter of months.
Here's something that amused us to no end last night. Pardon the photography, it was dark, and I was laughing too hard.

Yeah, been rereading some Dragonlance lately. Sometimes it's just comforting to go back to familiar old books that you haven't read for a decade or so.
She's got her paws in the book.
I wonder who her favourite character is. Raistlin or Tas?
Alright, I've eaten my chocolate, and I've made my tea. Time to write.
