TIME!
i'm playing the waiting game, which i do a lot of my life. in that way, my work is kinda neat because right now my work of 5 days a week is teaching me a lot about myself and how I am. There are many things I do at work, and it seems like all this teaching about myself is condensed - I learn a lot in a small period of time. Maybe it's because I'm working with all older people (+10 years or so) and the contrast to a lot of peers is a difference. I also feel like I have a LOT of time to think. Whether it be on my way to work or coming back (30 min both ways..or more depending on traffic) or in between tasks, there's time to reflect.
Anyway, what spurred this thought was that the experiment i am working with has timepoints, which i would need to wait, and then pull..and then wait some more. And now, i am analyzing the substances and running tests on them, and each step has waiting-time associated with it...as well as prepping next samples, etc...so that relates to my life because I definitely wait on things. I am a proactive person if I have the means to get done what needs to be done...but otherwise, I am usually content to wait. And i guess this is just a good confirmation that waiting isn't bad, sometimes it is necessary. I should occupy time while waiting, and then time'll be up :) (that has at least 3 layers//// :))
