(no subject)
Wow anime Iowa was AMAZING! Although next year I'm not going to be on staff. I mean, yeah staff has it's perks, but I'm just not in the mood to do it again...at least for a while.
Anyway, here's a recap of the past couple of days:
Friday: I had to help my mom clean, and then I went to help set up. I was really worn out, and ended up going to my dads house to change into a blue Chinese dress. It was really cool to see lots of people walking around in costumes. :D I couldn't wait to wear my sakura hime costume on saturday. PLUS I saw a really good looking guy dressed up as sayoran. *blush* I asked him if he was going to dress up as sayoran on saturday so that we could get a picture together. Ironically in the hotel it was FREEEZING! Air conditioning will do that to you, so I played DDR in the gaming room to warm up. ^_^;;; The only sorta bad thing was there was a HUGE line for registration. There were alot of complaints for it... mesa feel soo bad nows...Over all that day was pretty good, did alot of running around and finally went home.
Saturday: OMG soooo much running around, soo many pictures, and soo many hugs. Actually I needed the hugs cuz I was cold and needed love. ^_^;; I did see the sayoran walking around again that day, I talked to him a bit...but...I didn't get up the guts to ask him for a picture. *ish still kicking herself for not asking for a freakin GOD DAMN picture* I think I was just shy cuz I thought he was good looking. I mean...according to megan k and quite a few of my other friends think I have a wacked up taste in what I think what an attractive guy looks like. Maybe I do I dunno. Anyway, I got to go to a few panels, play ddr, hang out, talk to artists, bought a bunch of crap...and yeah...thats basically it. I went home around 10:30-11 ish (btw I was there from 9am to that time...so it was like, what, 14 hours?) and basically crashed.
Sunday: I think I was really looking forward to the end of the convention by this day. I mean I loved the convention...it just took waaaaay too much out of me. I did some food runs, spent the last of my money, haggled with some artists to buy a sticker for 30 cents and 10 yen (dont ask me how the yen ended up in my wallet), and was deeply saddened that I didn't get to say the guy sayoran again (was going to have the guts to ask him for a picture...alas...he wasnt there..). On the bright side tho I ran into a female dressed sayoran (haha, dontcha just LOVE my life?) and I got a picture with her. :D I also got loads of pictures of CCS sakura's and a few fai's from tsubasa. :D :D I'm still kinda bummed about not getting a pick with that one sayoran...but oh well I'll get over it...hopefully. Oh well there is always next convention.
Anyway I may post more about the convention laterz...kinda tired and I gots a few other things to do....
