Jane Austin and zombies...
So my boss came to work reading this funny little book one morning. I glanced over and noticed the title: "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies".
And had to blink.
"Jane Austin and zombies?" I asked, incredulously.
"It's hilarious!" my boss replied. "Not only are the girls master of womanly arts, but the 'deadly arts' as well. And it has ninjas!"
Now, I have a thing for ninjas. I blame Kakashi and his animated hotness in Naruto. And zombies are just plain cool. So I had to read it--even if it was originally a Jane Austin novel.
And OMG. It is hilarious! And brilliant--the secondary author changed a few words here and there, added some others every so often, and voila! Jane Austin's boring romantic story becomes kickass.
If you can, I recommend that you read it, if only for the snicker value. :)
