Hello!
Well, I do love the country spinner...I don't have a problem with my knees because they don't touch the wheel...(it is actually smaller than you think)...It can be sluggish when you ply (especially if your singles are small and have a bunch of twist...you have to treadle a bit more so you can get a balanced yarn).I do love it because I do a bunch of novelty yarns and this way anything lockspun or bulky does not get caught and overspun. It holds a ton (2lbs)...on the negative side...it is pricey and if you do not have a wheel I would recommend you get a regular wheel with the jumbo attachment...you will have more options. If I were to do it all over again, I would go that route....
Any other thoughts you have or questions...just ask..or if you ever find yourself in NH, stop by and try it out:)
I checked out your site too...and I think your yarns are fabulous...and I left spinning fiber because of some of the rude comments that were made about it....I think spinning should be fun and creative...and whatever route you choose you should love it...and support others creative endevors...
Have a wonderful night!

Thank you for your help! That narrows down the options. Which is a good thing. I need a new wheel but there aren't any places to try them within probably 2-3hrs. So I'm looking for advice and opinions.

Sorry to hear you ran into problems with spinning. Where people nasty because you make novelty yarn? I've had a couple posts from one uptight spinner that didn't like novelty yarn but that's it.

Well anyway thank you SO much for taking the time to help. I really appreciate opinions/suggestions right now.
