(no subject)
Things are rather chaotic right now and I'm having a hard time keeping everything straight. However, here are a few things that I know have happened to me recently.
I'm taking ceramics. YEAH!!! Our first assignment was to build a sculpture so I'm making a hippo. Last night I spent several hours working on it in the ceramics studio and got about half way done with it. It was looking good and I was rather proud of it. So I go to put a plastic bag around it and somehow the damn thing manages to jump off the table and completely SMOOSH on the ground. God Damn It. I figured all you ceramics people out there could understand my anguish. So I have to go back tonight and start all over.
I got a job working at Quiznos today. I know, not very glamorous. I was hoping for a coffee shop job but Quiznos came through instead. After I got hired I felt really depressed for about half an hour. I'm not sure why. Maybe it was because I realized I'd just signed my life away. Or maybe because minimum wage is just over 6 bucks in Montana. Anyway, Dearest Dyllan, this job means I can't come to Oregon because I have to work on Sat. and Sundays. Since I'm just starting I can't really take any time off, and I'm already going to have to miss work for a mandatory field trip, so I don't think they'd let me take another weekend off so soon into being hired. I'm really really really sorry. I was so excited about visiting you. This bites. I hope you're coming home for Thanksgiving. I'm really sorry.
