I remember reading waaay back when about behavioural experiments in Siberia, where researchers sought to find if canids other than garden-variety dogs could be domesticated.
And that they found not only that the answer was yes, but also that the resulting tamed silver foxes were friendly and affectionate! Footage of them playing made me waaaaant one.
And now I find out that they are available for sale (vaccinated and all)!
