This last weekend just past, I put my hand up to work so that my Rostered Days Off coincided with the days off TigerEyes had. So we had a midweek weekend together, which was lovely.
Today we went and saw Avatar, which was awfully pretty, and wholly free thanks to a movie gift card I had lying around from last year.
Daaaamn, that was pretty. The melding of live action and CG was almost seamless. Despite the plot holes big enough to through megafauna through. I spent a lot of the time squealing over the flora and fauna - I want my own pet heli-lizard!
And my favourite moment? Spotting Wayne Barlowe's name in the conceptual creature credits. Because I was swearing blind all through the film that I could spot his design touch a mile away. I am such a fangirl. :P
