Eight days of happy - 5,6,7/8
5) Coming home from a punishing shift to find a beautiful TigerEyes in my bed, snuggled up with laptop and freshly downloaded episodes of both True Blood and season 14 Top Gear! <3
6) Putting in orders for Yuletide cherries and hams. Wandering around a shopping centre TE and I used to live (separately) near, marvelling at the changes over the years. Going out to lunch at one of my favourite hawker places - and bantering with the owner who playfully teased me about my "new" boy, who was clearly more handsome than the last one he saw, all of a month ago. Fresh new season cherries and watermelon for afternoon tea.
7) Going shopping for my usual Giant Load of Strawberries (all I eat at work nowadays) while TE cooked breakfast. Cooking with TE; making an amazing near-vegetarian ragu (save for the anchovies, which add an amazingly-unfishy savoury depth)with fresh ricotta.
Why, yes, in my culture food is largely associated with affection. Your point? :P
