It's Done!
All "t's" are crossed, all "i's" are dotted, all decisions regarding punctuation, hyphenation, capitalization, and spelling variation made. The Yiddish has been spell-checked, the rules that head each chapter fine-tuned and replaced when necessary to avoid duplication, the supernatural beings double-vetted for accuracy (where possible--folklore is not an exact science), and all instances of "leapt" returned to their original "leaped." There are also 35 pages of retyped paragraphs and conversations to be inserted into pages where the little arrows and written-in bits got too hard to read.
I'm reasonably pleased with it--a lot more pleased than I was when I handed in the manuscript, anyway--and very, very, very glad that this part of the process is over.
