We saw Rent in Detroit last night, Damon's Valentines gift to me. The show was awesome and I was super excited to finally get to see it live after having the whole show pretty much memorized for like 7 years. I am however coming to the conclusion that I am destined never to see Adam Pascal live. In 2002 I saw Aida on Broadway and Adam had an understudy. Now last night I see in the program an understudy is playing Roger. Upon doing my research this morning I have found on siteforrent.com that he is on medical leave and will not be appearing in Detroit at all due to a herniated disc. Well shoot.
