Update time
Well sorry my ppls i haven't been updating. These days im so busy that its hard to keep track lol. Not a whole lot has changed much in my life. Im still working for Sodexho but not too sure how much longer i will stay. I have made the decision that im gonna start looking for some job opportunites in NYC because thats where the action is lol and around here its just hard to find a place that i can be happy with and have growth opportunites. I saw an opening working for the 4 seasons hotel so i applied online we will see what will come out of it but if i do get a job im probably gonna relocate myself. I spent this afternoon looking at prices or rent in the Long Island area since its really close to Manhattan so.
On another note i have found a new passion in the world of sports, hockey. Well it isn't too new i mean i was getting into it before the NHL went on strike last year but now that its back im back into it. I go to the RPI mens hockey game and so far the games i have seen have been really good. I still have hopes of going to see a New York Rangers game at Madison Wquare Garden. Now on the more exciting and intresting news i have met and made a new friend which was totally cool. Why you may ask? because i met this new friend on my myspace. One night i was searching for some new buddies to add so i was reading ppl's bio's and stuff and i came across this persons bio and decided to send her a request to be my buddy. Well one thing led to another and before i realized it we were talking online for like hours and the more we talked the more we found we had in common.
Now i have not been one to beleive in meeting ppl online and what not but i guess this proves me wrong. Before i knew it she gave me her cell number and we were talking on the phone and online hahhaha it was so funny i haven't talked that long in ages. So i got up the nerve 2 weeks ago to ask her if she wanted to meet me since she lives in Long Island it isn't that far. I didn't think she was going to go for it but to my surprise she agreed. So we had to meet in a public place cause well her mom didn't know me and i didn't know them so we agreed a mall or what not would be the best place to meet. SO i knew that my box car wasnt gonna make it all the way to LI and back. I learned my lesson with the last time i was in the NYC area and got stranded on the NYS throughway. So i decided the best route was to rent a car. I found a car rental place last week and thought i was all set. wrong answer. I decided to check with the car rental place to make sure everything was all set and come to find out that i needed a major credit card to secure the car rental and i only have a debit/visa card and they wouldnt accept that.
So i paniced and called every place i could think of to see if i could get a car for the day. Well i found some places but since i am 1 mo shy of my 25th b-day they weren't gonna let me use my debit card it was so lame i was pissed at this point. But i finally found Enterprise that would let me use a rent a car. So i get there yesterday morning at 8:20 am fill out the paperwork and go to get the vehicle and im expecting this little compact car and i get this 4 door car really nice electic windows built in cd player i was so impressed. So i decided even though her dad was so nice to get me directions it was better to get mapquest directions cause if anyone knows me and driving if there is a way to get lost i will find it lol so everything went fine i got there early so then came the moment *dramtic music* i was nervouse as well as she about meeting each other i didnt know what to expect. And then she came walking with her mom she looks just like her picture online. so we went to eat at applebees which was nice. We chated some more about stuff mostly hockey she is a Rangers fan too so we talk about plays lol. She is great she comes off as this shy cute girl but get her near a hockey game and man lol.
After lunch she and i walked and talked through the mall. We both could tell we were nervous cause well i talk alot when im nervous or am excited and she does this cute fidget thing but i was really happy the happiest i have been in a long time. Then we walked back to meet her mom and once her mom found out what i did for a career she was like wow now that we have met you maby you can come over some time and make dinner lol. Then we said our goodbies gave her a hug and i was on my way back home. I hit some major traffic comeing home and almost thought i got lost but luckly found my way and made it back here in albany around 8:00. I was always a critic of meeting ppl online and these online dating things but i have to admit that at least with this girl, she has proven me wrong. Its funny how we really only met each other but i feel as well as she does that we have known each other all along but its cool and i hope that things continue to go well. Well i think i have typed enough lol till next time. Cya
