Youtubers denied
I have decided that if you post a video about something important to you on Youtube you will get every blind idiot from the opposing viewpoint posting. They will say "Well what about the cows and chickens?" Or if you ask someone to show the evidence they will just tell you not to give them homework. Minamata from eating dolphin meat? The evidence is in the fucking documentary. Ric may be crazy, but he's not stupid. He does his research and presents his evidence. I think people get pissed off when they find their pet industry being threatened. Bet the whole lot of them are Asian dolphin trainers pretending to be Americans. Or rednecks too stupid to realize the same shit has been done to humans in the past and too stupid to spell correctly. Anyone remember the death camps where the skilled Jews were separated and the rest gased, burned, shot, etc.? Where is the outrage that essentially the EXACT SAME THING is being done to other sapient species? We kicked German and Japanese ass when this was done to other humans. BTW Japan had the nasty habit of incinerating American POWs.
Why do I care more about dolphins and chimps than cows and chickens? Dolphins and chimps can hold a conversation with you even though you may not be able to understand them. Put them in front of a mirror and they will gaze at themselves posing instead of attacking the mirror. Dolphins, in the wild, have been seen to plan and execute complex tactics when hunting. Tactics which would make any admiral smile. Chimps are the same way. It takes a big brain to come up with a plan other than headbutt the other male until he gives up or run at the zebra or elk until it drops. It takes an amazingly complex brain to say "Hey, that's my reflection not a rival." Cows and chickens don't have that complex of a brain. Grass just isn't that evasive of a prey species and neither are insects and seeds. Another thing, the manner in which they kill cattle at feedlots is a Hell of a lot more humane than the manner in which death row inmates are killed. It is instant. So yes I damned well will speak out against the treatment of dolphins while eating a hamburger or a bucket of KFC.
If life is precious, then intelligence is even more precious and I see a lot of humans who probably barely pass the mirror test.
