The Christmas lights across the road looked like police sirens, when I glimpsed them through the net curtains last night. Shops that still play Jingle Bells are drowned out by January Sales. New bikes have dirt on the wheels and wrapping paper has been carted off by the bin men. Did you all have a nice Christmas too? I got some lovely books!
