This was the last of summer: peach iced tea and walks along the dorset coast. The bulbs have been planted for next spring and I'm ready for autumn now; for buying jumpers and coming home as it gets dark.
I've been working as a temp in an office. I ride my new red bike to work, drink green tea with lemon, and someone will bring in chocolate cake because it's friday afternoon. There are so many things that society makes me think I should be doing. I should be moving somewhere new, and applying to all the graduate jobs I can find, or investing all the money I have in renting a studio and becoming a freelance designer. But why would I do that when I can stay here making barley stew and listening to johnny cash on the weekends?
Oh, to have been born adventurous.
