So.. 35. Like 25, it seemed to haunt me alittle, making me realize I'm no longer a kid, no longer at that age where I can just do what I want, when I want. Least at 25 I was still young enough to party. At 35 I feel almost immature thinking about doing so, heh.
At 35, Im starting to question if I want to become a mother again. Am I to old to be chasing after a little bundle of energy OR is this the perfect age? Will I absolutely adore watching them explore their new world moreso then I did with my boys? Have some new appreciation as an older, more mature parent?
One thing I have realized is boy 'o boy do you really have to start watching everything that goes into your gut. No more eating anything and everything that comes to mind. Being in shape is HUGE now compared to your 20's where weight is lost and gained in the blink of an eye if you want to.
Took Tom to a luau for his birhtday to watch the sexy hula dancers. The fire dancers were terrific. Having him here for a month has really made me think about how important it is, how almost vital its become to have those friends around that I love spending time with no matter what we're doing. Heres hoping the next couple years go swiftly until Tom and whoever else moves here :)
