(no subject)
I ned to check the Observer more often. I only realized this last week that the Pogues were playing October 30th at the House of Blues. I have 2 tickets to go. I'm still unsure if Husband will go with or not. I might have to find someone else to join me.
THE FREAKIN POGUES!!!
After that Sean McGowan documentary a few years ago, who would have thought they'd ever tour again, much less with him, across America. I had to go scour the internet, but according to their MySpace page, that appears to be the case. Amazing.
So if you go to the show. I'll be in General Admission with the big flame boots on. I may have to make an ensemble. Crap, I'll have that and Halloween costumes to concentrate on.
On a completely different note, we went to Red Hot & Blue for lunch yesterday. When I asked our server about a gluten free menu, or wether they fried french fries in the same grease as everything else, she went to talk to a manager. They offered to bake french fries and adjust how they cook the meats to accomidate S's allergy (grilling it seperate, or with no sauce). He had a cheeseburger sans bun and baked fries. He was in heaven. They were the first fries I've let him have in 2 months. We left a 40% tip.
