Wednesday, I got flowers from the marketing team, because it was Adminastrative Assistants day, or something.  They were much appreciated, especially since they didn't seem to set off my allergies.

Thursday, Husband brought home Noka Chocolate for me.  Noka makes single plantation chocolate, meaning that each kind of chocolate is only made from beans from one cocoa plantaion.  Most choclateers mix beans from several places, but the environment where the beans are grown affects the taste of the chocolate.  It's excellent stuff.  They now sell at Neiman Marcus and they have a shop at Northpark, and a shop in Tokyo. The price has come down by about half, because they have grown so much in the last year.  The guy selling recognized my husband.  He threw in one of their chocolate bunnies with the order.  The ingredients read "Cocoa, cocoa butter, sugar."  It is even too dark for me.  The bunny is destined for the mousse the next time I make a batch.

Friday, I got more flowers from my husband for our 10th anniversary.  He asked what I liked since he didn't want to screw ua and get me somthing I was allergic to.  The flowers I got were nothing like the ones I had described to him.  Okay.  They also came about 3 hours later than the delivery time he was told.

When he got home, he took one lok and declared that that was not what he ordered for me.  He had gone in a local shop and told them the cost he had budgeted for.  She showed he a vase with 6 roses and then tried to push the "Spring Bouquet."  He said that he told her no, he'd go with the roses, because I said I wasn't allergic to those, and I wpuld probably be allergic to something in the spring bouquet.  So she wrote up the order for the spring bouquet.  Bitch.  He called the shop to complain, and the woman who was there wasn't there on Saturday, Husband talked to her, then muted the phone while he cussed and related what she said to him.  Then unmuted the phone to hand it to me while he continued to fume loudly in the back ground.  The wonam appologized profusely and said they would deliver the proper arrangement on Monday.

S was late getting home because some crazy guy was shooting at people and was between where the bus was when it started and our house.  The police blocked off a huge area.  So the bus had to drive way out of the way to get back to our side of town.

We were just going to go out on Saturday for our anniversary, but my dad called us and invited us out to dinner.  We met over at Razoos..  Our appetizers came and S wouldn't eat any french fries. and then he vomited.  It looked like it was just drainage upsetting his tummy.  So we left D there with my parents and grabbed our dinners to go.  I sat in back with S to protect my interior on the way home.  He never did eat dinner.

I stayed up too late painting clown signs, but they turned out nicely.  I painted at the clown barn on Saturday.  D was mad and kept saying I was going to the circus without her.  Whe I explained that it was just the clowns, and no one would be in constume she didn't seem to expect that there was a difference.  I did get to eat breakfast there and some brought the most delicious deer sausage.  I now have bags of stuff to do.  There were at least 2 people who made runs to Hobby Lobby for shirts.  I am also striping all of there shiirts for competition at the begining of June.

I got home around noon and we took the kids to my parents house and drove to Deep Ellum.  Twisted Root is awesome!  just as I suspected. I had a burger with chedder, bacon and guacamole.  Hubby had the same, but with jalapenoes instead of guac.   then we split orders of curly fries and fried pickles.  I liked thier homemade root beer, it had a really sweet, almost bubble gum taste.  They will be featured on Diners Drive Ins and Dives on Food network Monday night.

Dad told me on Friday, that he and a guy he works with had gone there for lunch last week and it was good.  It sounded like they had tried a little of everything.  My dad does that.  If he knows I'm going to do something, he does it first, so he can try it first and let me know how it is and what to watch for.  I think its unnessessary to do that about a restaurant, but I don't think he can help it.  When I was in intermediate school, they realized I would probably have to have a mole removed in the future.  He went and had a mole removed in everyway they remove moles, so that he would be able to tell which one was the least painful.  Sweet, but nutty.

Then we stopped on the way home at the local market that has local grown veggies.  We bought tomatoes, the un-genetically-altered kind, and bell peppers and I made stuffed peppers and tomatoes for supper later.  They turned out really good and I ran the 3 left to my parents house.

Hubby had to order a part for the 4 wheeler he is trying to get running, and the part came in on friday, so I wasn't going to stand in the way of his going out to my grandfather's house today to work on it.  Last night around bed time, D asked if she could go with her daddy.  For some reason, she was able to get her floor picked up in about half an hour.  It's not good enough to vacume, but it wouldn't take long to get that way.

So it's just me and S.  We have already watched Blues Big Musical and blew bubbles outside for about 45 minutes.

bubbles, anniversary, motorcycles, clowns, weekend stuff, flowers, twisted root, noka, airbrush
